Your all-purpose adventure game kit

This is the thread for your ideal inventory for any and every adventure game. What do you want to lug around to solve ridiculously convulted and illogical puzzles(sometimes involving puns)? Points go towards the multi-function utility of each item.

For example:

.357 magnum
-----
-shoot badguys
-crack nuts
-prop the bathroom door open
-scratch your back
-paperweight
-can barter for cigarettes in prison/POW camp
-can shoot that goddamn cat off that goddamn fence so you can get some fur to make a highly unconvincing fake moustache

You can ignore considerations of weight/encumberance, unless it gets quite silly. A full refridgerator/freezer combo = right out.

a dorm fridge = enh, okay.

You get the idea.

I'll start:

-leatherman/multi-tool/lock picks
(obv)

-crowbar
(ol' rusty does the job, every time)

-silver flask of highly flammable whisky
(can block bullets, get you drunk, get you cigarrettes, start fires, bribe guards, can be melted down into silver weapons to kill werewolves or republicans)

-inner tube (must have duck/animal head or its not fun enough)

-rope w/ grappling hook

(can grapple with rough issues, tie up boats, hang suspected collaborated, make a very small hammock, keep the car door from falling off, grab the bejeweled ring from its resting place in a 10-foot-deep sludge pond)

An adventure game of 'Boy and His Blob' would just require 10 bags of various flavors of jellybean. I like the jellybean approach to fighting & problem-solving. They also double as handy snacks.
