I just played Harvest Moon on SNES for 6 hours straight. I have 4 chickens and two cows (Jane and Bev). I have impressed Eve at the Harvest Festival.

Abbott's post above reminded me of how simplified the SNES version is. I've played the PS2 and GBA versions, and both of them are waaaaaaaay more complex than this one. In some ways the simplicity is nice (I never was a big fan of gathering up ingredients and experimenting with new dishes, but I'm already at the point where all I'm basically doing is trying to woo a village girl, make my house bigger, and buy more cows and chickens.
