Wasteland. I lived in DC when the government shutdown in the 90s and Bethesda's work brings back memories. Never lived in NYC; don't even like to visit, to be honest.

Excellent Flikr set of some comparisons between some NYC landmarks and equivalents in Liberty City. Some are pretty damn cool and not immediately obvious.
