i like this one!

also, a lot of these seem to be chosen on the basis of "bad or goofy game with representative cover," like

how is that the worst cover ever? it's actually kinda great!

They are very vague about how they feel about these covers. The page title says "25 most awesome covers" or something.

for ugliness, this is up there:

despite the sexy n64 packaging (possibly my favourite game packaging, although I never had one). I heard the game's equally shite.

Awww, this one's kind of endearing (save for the rhinitis):

I like the one for Wonder Boy, too.

Third and fourth the (not ironic) greatness of the Wonder Boy cover (my gf liked it too).

I swear I've posted this game in every thread on this damn board.

Unfortunately the little picture can't quite do justice to the nasty teeth in this one:

World Of Stuart did this a while ago, and I think it was concluded this one was pretty much unbeatable:

This one's my favourite, though:

Haha, that Metro Cross one is horrendous!

melton mowbray, Saturday, 31 March 2007 16:53 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, I guess you don't have to pay the mentally challenged cover models as much as normal.
That one's hard to beat.

it's the "steve bak's" part of the dog's of war cover that keeps cracking me up

rio natsume, Sunday, 1 April 2007 19:49 (nineteen years ago)

elite had a beautiful logo though.

I think it's brilliant how the lettering covers his face, but the gun quite happily sits in front.
