it's a dos game, should be able to download it somewhere, but any emulator i've ever tried using on this powerbook has been a headache. pro tips pls.

Assuming you haven't tried it, but: DOSbox should totally work. There's even a slightly more convenient and prettier version called Boxer for Mac. These are both universal binaries so I'm also assuming they'll work on your Powerbook. Might want to check this page out too.

I've been trying to get DOSbox to work on my newish MacBook Pro and wondering why it wouldn't run Master of Magic, a 15 year old game, at full speed. Then I realized that in DOSbox you may have to manually increase the number of cpu cycles that the emulator is permitted to use. So I recommend playing with that, if that's one of your troubles (doing so involves pressing control-f12). Sounds aren't presently working on mine but if I cared I figure with tweaks it would turn on too.

hey guys might and magic plays a LOT like world of xeen.
the story/setting is kinda lame (no WE SERVE ALAMAR, no sci-fi) but the gameplay is pretty right. all turn based, all keyboard based, tons of useless spells, lots of opportunities to fuck yourself in stat allocation.

the textures are totally fucked and the graphics are kinda busted in general but the world map is somewhere in between world of xeen and betrayal at krondor if that makes any sense
