The new site looks pretty good, congrats on the launch!
Now, stupid question time: How do I comment on articles? I see the comments, but don't see a form.

hmmm...lemme check, there are a lot of "issues" with various little quirkly things happening right now.
(thx)
(also sorry to self promote on ILG but anyway thought some might be interested and it's been like a big year of work on this for us)

(ah okay, a tech dude tells me that you actually have to sign up for a site account and be logged in to comment on articles/blogs.etc...free and quick though...plus then you can do a lot of stuff in terms of customizing your news feeds and whatnot)

Sliding notification on the upper right that tells you when a new post has been made is kind of annoying, but as an oldster who spends lots of time on a text only MSG board, it's prob safe to ignore me on that.

The new site looks pretty slick, certainly a big step up from this http://web.archive.org/web/19970117164348/http://www.gameinformer.com/index.html
I did try listening to your new podcast though and could only make it about 1/2 way through before giving up out of extreme boredom. It felt like being trapped in a planning meeting at work! If I could offer two pieces of advice they'd be...
1. Don't bother recording a podcast when your whole crew is exhausted and jet-legged.2. Try to pick a few topics you're enthusiastic to talk about (even if it's negatively). There are so many podcasts out there already - the only ones worth listening to are either extremely informative or infectiously excited about what they're talking about.
Maybe it's a mid-west thing, but you all sounded bored... which doesn't make for very a compelling listen. Maybe things got better in the second half, but I just couldn't take any more.

jeff those are some fair points i think on a lot of stuff ppl started to loosen up about halfway through but everyone was grinding on like 12-14 hour days with no days off, and frankly a podcast HAD to be there day one IMO if it was going to be a regular part of the site...so anyway i hope we get better at it. i think we will. also that thing was being edited down to literally the last hour before launch, as i had basically 24 hrs to learn protools from scratch and record and edit and master the whole deal, so the technical/sound side will get better too
