I was playing this online last night for the first time, for about an hour... and maybe I was lucky, but I didn't encounter any lag at all. Very impressed! I've got a lot of practicing to do though. The game is deep, fun and looks great.

I also recommend the 360 hori fighting stick.

three months pass...

I just got this last week. It has reminded me of why I was all on Virtua Fighter's 2 jock back in 1996. Lion is still fucking awesome to play.

Any hints would be welcome here. I feel like I'm okay against the computer, but almost whenever I play against another human online I feel like I don't stand a chance (my win percentage is at like 15% though I haven't played a ton - maybe just playing a ton is the key?).

Playing a ton is the key, I think. I haven't made the jump to online play yet because I know I'd get demolished; there are guys out there who have made the VF fighting system their life's work.
