of course, if they did actually cover 30+ year olds, you know, the ones who actually do have kids and play the vid games, it'd kinda defeat the purpose of their study & their headline, wouldn't it.

This Entertainment Software Association page pops up as the very first Google hit for "average age of gamer". 33 years old. Lots of other factoids about families that play together, percent of women players, etc.

I don't know which is worse, this kind of story or "women like games like The Sims bcz they are only interested in manipulating the lives of others," though I'm leaning toward the latter.
