I haven't smoked green in a year or two and had no intention to until I started playing Mass Effect-- for some reason the two seem like they'd go together well.

Also planning to have a mate over for beers and Bioshock at some point.

I've had DQ8 since friday night, already 40 hours in. Jesus.

Okay, saw a copy of Shadow Hearts: Covenant for $15 at a Gamecrazy, so I picked that up. How many other rpgs are set during WWI?

Crashed at a friend's house after thxgiving, woke up the next morning and played Punch Out on Wii, watched Half Life for awhile and then played Portals (which is great!).

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is set during World War II although I'll be damned if there's anything in the actual game about it.

I started Valkyrie Profile 2 yesterday. It is very confusing. Many parts of the game would be easier to understand if it used 2D graphics.

Apparently, it's been out in japan since last month, won't hit here until next year. Looks more like a Fire Emblem-type strategy game than your standard JRPG.

Brother will be bringing his PS2 and "the Warriors" for the holidays. I'm dragging all my rpgs along. Such fun to be had.

Also, i brought my boardgames with me this time. Ticket to Ride: Marklin, Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, etc. Whee!

I'll be getting as many stars on mario as i feel comfy, finally beating god of war 2, probably up for a new rpg too. Might pick up fire emblem for the wii as a "out of work" present to myself... good choice?

I kinda enjoyed the original Front Mission (on emulator), but did they tone down the weapons/outfitting? I remember that taking up more time than the missions themselves!

That was the fun of it, in my opinion! Maybe I'm just a big nerd. I'm not far into the DS one but I reckon it'll be more of the same.

Am messing about with Worlds of Ultima: Martian Dreams lately. I love ultimas, and i forgot how much i dig victorian/steampunk games. Anybody know of any other worthwhile Victorian stuff, aside from Arcanum?

I've been trying to beat Ninja Gaiden all weekend. I got farther than I ever did as a kid, to Jaqio (second to last boss), but I just can't crack it.
