I just bought this (I paid full price - what a sucker. Very punishing, especially after being a total h4rdass on my playthroughs of the demo). Still cannot answer the question as to why games where the main premise is 'you are massively in hock PAY YOUR DEBTS' are so compelling for me.
Quite enjoy reducing my buy price when the little girls moans at me for not buying her apples (etc) at my first suggested price AND THEN SHE ACCEPTS IT, ha! Suck it up you whinging get.

it probably would actually, since it's basically a doujin game - those tend not to be built on cross-platform libraries, usually tied to DirectX pretty tightly
xp, yeah it's even better once you realize how to really milk them on hot items
