i started this thread because the gbig grey GB was my first console. what games did you guys love for this? i was all about super mario land, and tetris, obv, and final fantasy legend even at a young age, and i never got a chance to play metroid ii but if i had i am sure i'd actually be a metroid fan now. tell me, what predominantly yellow and green games tickled your fancy?

also, i got my game boy when i was really young... like 5 years old. i was still using the same one when i was 14 (pokemon red natch). will any console ever have AAA titles as long as that one did? that thing was top drawer for basically my ENTIRE LIFE (until high school). astounding.

All of the GB Zeldas are good. (Although, they are also probably the reason why people started saying all Zeldas are the same.)

there's a metal gear game i've played on emulator that's pretty good, a lot like metal gear 2 but with some of MGS's gameplay thrown in.

there was a streetfighter clone called raging fighter that was awesome.
tetris, super mario land, zelda:link's awakening were my favourites on the old-skool gameboy. oh, and super smash tennis was totally kickass.

s1ocki you think it's big now-- you should see it when it has the light, magnifier and speaker attachments! it's like the size of a textbook.
yeahhhh, final fantasy legend 2 was awesome. i didn't play it until much later (high school) but it was still hiiiiiigh quality. I think there was a #3 as well, never played it. now I want to, because I also loved #1...
