Anybody else planning to pick this up?
Apparently in the game you have to have a drink to stop the shakes and have steady enough aim to shoot a gun (though most of the combat is hand to hand)

this game sounds kinda cool, but i never played the first one... i may rent it anyway, although creepy games and i don't get along.

Tried this out last night, played maybe the first 45 minutes of single player, which is indeed some really creepy shit. Your character moves very slowly and the camera bobs as you walk, increasing the out of balance feeling - and every thing so far is very very dark (you really need to use your flashlight to see). I definitely intend to stick with the game, but I think I'll only be able to play it in small doses - it just seems that disturbing. No story really so far, just you crawling around the creepy, tar covered outskirts of a run down city at midnight and through some warehouses, having to beat up bums / tar monsters with a your bare hands, pipes, electrical cords and artificial limbs.
Also played one deathmatch multiplayer map which was absurdly stupid - clunky melee combat in a warehouse full of creeps. Brutal, but completely lacking in any kind of skillful play possibilities or strategy. I don't know that I'll explore more of that (maybe some of the other modes).
