Tom Clancy's Money Xerox: A Thread for Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, etc...

As much as I don't particularly care about the Clancy name and think it's silly that Ubisoft just bought the damn thing for $300M, man there are some games that I can't help but buy or at least rent or borrow. I loved Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, particularly online with buddies (although their online system SUCKS, and has with every TC game). I recently got Vegas 2, which is pretty good, and apparently there's a Tom Clancy Air Combat game on the way... whatever the hell that is. I have yet to play Splinter Cell 4, but it's at the top of my list, as it's probably $10 on eBay by now. I have GRAW, but I haven't played it (craigslist for 5 bucks, whee), let alone GRAW2...

but yeah I don't think vegas 2 is worth its own thread and i couldn't find any clancy threads, so let's put it all in here. FLASH AND CLEAR FELLAS

R6V2 is alright. Its buggy and more of the same.

ubi games bug me so much because they all have kernels of GREATNESS that are just completely marred by them missing the plot on the little things (like creed's repition, or every tom clancy game's AWFUL online system-- seriously, vegas 2 online UI feels like it'd fit in 6 yers ago, and when i had chaos theory it was virtually impossible to play online with my other friends, and we all had valid copies of the game... insanity.)

I liked the maps in Graw 2 multiplayer a lot (at the time) - I can't quite remember why I quit playing it exactly - I think because half of the time it would crash or lock up my 360. Rainbow 6 Vegas ran a lot smoother for me, but I didn't like the maps as much, and the only people playing the game were crazy hardcore.

For some reason I picked up the new Vegas 2 (on ps3), but haven't yet played it much - only some deathmatch and a few games of terrorist hunt. I kind of forgot how much slower it plays - the weird creeping around and hiding behind corners all the time. I found the new maps kind of bland, unfortunately. I do want to play it more, but I'm still enjoying CoD4 too much lately to spend time on another game.
