i mean, holy fuck here guys.
Warning: you're about to see an incredible thing. "Nintendo Preview Music Jam" is a series of VHS tapes produced by Ultra Hot Video in 1991. Basically, it's three hours of Nintendo Entertainment System gameplay footage set to a megamix of late '80s and early '90s hip hop and dance music.I can't begin to explain how or why such a thing came to exist, but I'm glad that it happened. The first volume starts a little slow with Activision's Predator, but it picks up when Street Fighter 2010 mixes with Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step" and a selection of tracks from Janet Jackson. By the halfway point, you'll have seen The Magic of Scheherazade played to the beat of C&C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat," and you'll be sold on the concept by the time you get to the 50-minute mark and witness the unlikeliest combination of all: Wizardry accompanied by "The Humpty Dance."

holy shit. We got our NES in early '89, and always had the local top 40 station on when we played.
