it's a soccer game where the players are different dice, and different dice rolls give you different effects (doubling points, multiplying them, reducing opponent points, other stuff) that help you move the ball downfield. you can buy/earn different players and you go through various campaigns swapping different players in and out. it's mechanically fun, and RPGish.

Wow literally nothing they can't RPG these days eh? I guess that slot machine one was the weirdest

A Little Princess btw (s1ocki), Thursday, 5 April 2012 02:51 (thirteen years ago)

Mordy, Thursday, 5 April 2012 02:51 (thirteen years ago)

Why not a Kairosoft game?

Spleen of Hearts (kingfish), Thursday, 5 April 2012 03:36 (thirteen years ago)

you know, i did game dev story, and i just found it like plateau-ed super early on and never really presented me with the right challenge/reward ratio. are others better?

Hmm. They each have their definite lifecycles, but Pocket League and Grand Prix story are great for an airplane trip. Venture Towns and Oh! Edo Towns both are good if you like controlling a little city filled with Kairo people wandering about, either modern day or during Edo-era Japan.

There's a backlog of Android-only games that they need to port over to the North American market.

i played a bunch of mage gauntlet but seriously, can't deal with the controls, there's just no way to translate a game like to that to OSX imho
