Adrian WojnarowskiVerified account@WojVerticalNBASources: Clippers officials met with Austin Rivers Thursday in Orlando, and Rivers is expected to talk with Knicks, possibly Portland Friday
RIP fun blazers

I do not think the Grizzlies should pay Conley 150 million over 5 years
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 1 July 2016 04:06 (nine years ago)
i won't allow myself the luxury of hope, but Whiteside would be a good addition (longest shot, Conley as well, would be a fun team)

This Bobby guy on the yahoo free agency thing is saying dumb things

zach lowe: Teams that have inquired with Kent Bazemore's agent since midnight under impression it might take $19M-$20M per year to sign him.

Teams will do all this nonsense and then a few weeks later good players will sign for 3 million
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 1 July 2016 04:21 (nine years ago)
really skeptical that the mavs or grizz can buy their way back into contention at this point

― J0rdan S., Friday, 1 July 2016 04:27 (nine years ago)
i like beal but that contract has some real eric gordon potential
― J0rdan S., Friday, 1 July 2016 04:28 (nine years ago)
the lakers racing to ink mozgov to a longterm deal is incredible
― J0rdan S., Friday, 1 July 2016 04:29 (nine years ago)
If they pay mozgov a reasonable amount that might be a better situation in the end
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 1 July 2016 04:30 (nine years ago)
Whiteside wouldn't meet with them, Horford is old
Boban would have been more intriguing tho
why do they need anyone idgi
― J0rdan S., Friday, 1 July 2016 04:32 (nine years ago)
a good GM like trades for mason plumlee and gets ed davis on a 3/20 deal. the lakers rush to sign timofey mozgov for 4 years 1 minute into free agency.
― J0rdan S., Friday, 1 July 2016 04:34 (nine years ago)
Lakers in serious talks on the framework of a four-year, $65M deal with Timofey Mozgov, league sources tell @TheVertical.
― Clay, Friday, 1 July 2016 04:35 (nine years ago)
i know it's a different world now but that's m/l the same as boogie's contract

― ciderpress, Friday, 1 July 2016 04:37 (nine years ago)

maybe it's a "well we gotta spend this money somehow!" situation & maybe they're looking at the fact that he was just recently traded for two first round picks but.... i'm not inclined to generously interpret anything the lakers do in free agency
― J0rdan S., Friday, 1 July 2016 04:43 (nine years ago)

well he's worth as least as much as mozgov
― moistest hoist (Spottie), Friday, 1 July 2016 04:52 (nine years ago)
lol xp
yeah if you sign dwight you basically have to admit that he's gonna miss like 1/3 of the regular season games but just 2 playoffs ago he like singlehandedly beat the blazers w/ LMA and he can still bring it when he wants to
i think houston went really sour cuz the culture is shit & harden is a bad teammate. also i think that up & down style was tough on dwight's body. if i was a team like the blazers or the hornets that could get him out of the spotlight and put him in a system that is more amenable to his strengths i would try & sign him provided he doesn't want $130 million or whatever.
basically i just wouldn't hold last year against him
