he got less money than evan turner! lol

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 14:54 (nine years ago)

I suppose they could use deng as some sort of small-ball 4 like spo did in miami, which leaves randle out but I'm not sure if randle is particularly good tbh?

if they just give deng some juice its a fine signing

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 14:57 (nine years ago)

horford choosing between celtics and wiz apparently

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 15:41 (nine years ago)

looking forward to the "durant meets with the spurs for 7 hours" and "according to sources kd is FLOORED by the celtics pitch" tweets before he announces hes resigning w okc for one year

I know you're being sarcastic but I'm legit looking forward to "KD told friends he is looking at houses in stone oak and is eager to get mangonadas"

sources quoting kd as saying breakfast tacos ate "tite af bro"

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 17:59 (nine years ago)

Al Horford has informed the Hawks that he will make his final free-agent decision tonight. Celtics and Wizards are currently in the lead.

ciderpress, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:12 (nine years ago)

would this be the celtics' biggest FA signing ever?

ciderpress, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:12 (nine years ago)

Marc Stein ✔ @ESPNSteinLine
Jon Leuer has landed a four-year deal worth $42 million with the Pistons, sources say

ciderpress, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:15 (nine years ago)

really regretting not dedicating my life to bball now

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:19 (nine years ago)

xman and dominique were both over the hill by the time they washed up on the shores of the charles

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:20 (nine years ago)

hey guys I dreamt the blazers signed evan turner for $17 mil a year lol free agency really messin' with my take on how reality works

Clay, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:23 (nine years ago)

crazy dream clay

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:23 (nine years ago)

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojVerticalNBA
Vertical Sources: Hawks still shopping Paul Millsap now, working contingencies should Horford want to stay. Sides still apart on contract.

huh

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:23 (nine years ago)

i guess getting something back in return for milsap wld be better than losing horford for nothing but id rather have milsap

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:25 (nine years ago)

wtf

ciderpress, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:25 (nine years ago)

why would they give bazemore a big contract if theyre not trying to keep the team together

ciderpress, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:26 (nine years ago)

Hawks kinda all over the place this offseason huh

Clay, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:26 (nine years ago)

yup

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:26 (nine years ago)

maybe celtics shd trade for milsap

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:29 (nine years ago)

in re: even turner at $17m per, the only thing I can think of is that olshey and stotts decided that turner was underutilized because of a bad fit with the Celtics and he would be a much better fit with the blazers. even if that turns out to be a shrewd move, they prob way overspent in order to close the deal quickly. who else was panting after turner for that kind of money?

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:33 (nine years ago)

last year on the celtics was the best hes ever played

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:37 (nine years ago)

using him as a backup point guard was a very left field choice that produced his only useful nba role ever

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:37 (nine years ago)

blazers just made a dumbass move is all

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:38 (nine years ago)

it shd be noted its not like he was even that good last year, his best year ever

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 18:41 (nine years ago)

if the hawks want to trade millsap to the celtics to keep horford, I could deal w that I guess?

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:23 (nine years ago)

oh man i'll take millsap in a hot second

call all destroyer, Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:25 (nine years ago)

and turner will be a weird fit on the blazers since they don't need more ballhandlers and he's bad off the ball.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:27 (nine years ago)

millsap is a more prudent option given his slightly lesser age but also kinda worried about him bolting in a year if it didn't go well right away

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:28 (nine years ago)

also magic picked up bismack - 4/70

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:29 (nine years ago)

the level of outrage in the portland fanbase re: turner i would generally describe as "knicks fans on draft night"

Clay, Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:31 (nine years ago)

is bis only capable of backing up big euro centers?

call all destroyer, Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:31 (nine years ago)

Bismack and Serge is an interesting frontcourt

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 2 July 2016 19:31 (nine years ago)

my guess is they trade vucci mane - who needs a high-scoring euroballer who rebounds decently but doesn't defend well in any other way?

+gordon obvs has crazy D potential

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 20:29 (nine years ago)

the magic have an obscene amount of cap space

J0rdan S., Saturday, 2 July 2016 20:30 (nine years ago)

still crazy to me that they spent $22 million in 16-17 salary on jeff green and dj augustin instead of just giving chandler parsons the max

J0rdan S., Saturday, 2 July 2016 20:32 (nine years ago)

short term tho

lag∞n, Saturday, 2 July 2016 20:33 (nine years ago)

i think they've given out $200 million in guaranteed money -- to augustin, green, fournier & biyombo..... -- in like 48 hours

J0rdan S., Saturday, 2 July 2016 20:34 (nine years ago)

well they gave augustin 4 years
