listening to the Kyrie episode of JJ Redick's podcast and kyrie is a weirdo. anyway in a snippet of it JJ said the rim on one side of the court (at the England arena) was crooked. 76ers shot well in the first half and Boston in the 2nd half. idk thought that was interesting

the minn broadcast team is good like everyone says. i actually learn stuff from those guys.

i love the basketball jones/the starters weekly pod, but I could understand if it is way too silly for some. Road trippin is occasionally entertaining. The Ringer's NBA pods should be much better than they are. Give Shea Serrano a podcast, simmons!

my fav hoops pod rn is brian windhorst's espn pod w/ the other espn basketball ppl. it's basically the old truehoop podcast but w/ all good/smart writers and no "personalities" like amin or the more talk radio-ish guys that used to be on the truehoop pods. windhorst is kind of a garbage writer but as a moderator of conversation he's good bcuz he is very very knowledgeable about the league.

i listen to it cause brian is good but i actually hate the combinations of guests who rarely seem to have any chemistry. other than bontemps whose grumpiness i enjoy they can be a drag.

it's a little worse now bcuz jackie macmullan is out... sometimes it's a weird crew. kirk goldsberry in partic is not very good.

yeah he's awful.

windy is cool enough. he knows a lot for sure, seems really plugged in. i havent listened to his pod recently ill get back into it. dude lacks any sense of humor tho.

windy has a sense of humor but like any good midwesterner it's extremely dry.

I wish there was an archive.ph for podcasts. hollinger and duncan is prob my favorite podcast and I’m sure if I looked into it the cost would be trivial but I have this aversion to paying for podcasts

just buy the podcast if you love it so much, maybe they have a patreon tier thatll let you marry it

the only pod i pay for is nate’s, he’s completely independent and laid out a really clear case for needing to move to a subscription model when he did it.

I've been a Dunc'ed on subscriber for years. The dudes put out a ton of content and I never thought it wasn't worth the cost. Probably not if you just want the H&D episodes though.

demar is a nice man who has made a long career out of being really really good at like 2 things and one of those things is getting buckets, its not his fault so many teams have fooled themselves into thinking that he would lead them to playoff success

i listened to one of their pods the other day well i just listened to the celtics part it was about contenders and their guest at the beginning was like ok ive got nine hours blocked out for this haha but it really was three and a half hours long

carson is some kind of savant, I like the vids where he remembers who was the highest scoring rookie for the buffalo whatevers in the 1950s
