/r/nba has lost it and basically put up clips every shot he took

I literally had forgotten about fultz’s existence until a week or so ago and it’s kinda weird that they’re playing him at all this late but it’s probably good for his confidence to play 10 games or w/e at semi nba speed

apparently it was his call, he said he was ready to play

Clifford looked good 2 years ago but the team has fallen off pretty hard with roughly the same roster. they should be making the offs in the east with their current guys imo

i don't think they're a bottom 10 org tho. would put them closer to the middle

they should have beat the heat in that series a few years ago but marvin williams missed 150 three pointers and they faced a wade who had just stepped out of a time machine. they would have lost to toronto so i don't think it would have mattered either way, but that team was pretty good. i don't think i've seen the hornets play a full game this year so idk how much of it is clifford but just looking at the roster.. but when you're surrounding kemba w/ marvin, batum, dwight, kaminsky, jeremy lamb and MKG that just seems like a roster construction problem that idk how you would solve, especially offensively you have a dynamic offensive player surrounded by guys who are decent at best.

i'd believe that the hornets are a bottom 10 org. you can make all sorts of front office and coaching and roster changes but if you have an owner who doesn't know what he's doing then that's a permanent debilitation (shoutout james dolan). what do the hornets want to be as a team? what kind of players do they value? why? what's their system? what kind of players would succeed for them but fail in other places? why? how do they acquire those players? all these sorts of questions can be answered by/for good orgs and for the hornets i have literally no idea what you would say to any of those kinds of questions.

i haven't spent much time with the heat this season but they are a lot of fun when they're rolling

blazers have played a few playoff-caliber intensity games in the past couple weeks and it has me pretty amped for the 'offs

yeah i've watched more heat games this year than any since the bron era. more often than not they're just a little too limited against great teams, but the style of play can be intoxicating.

Spoelstra has learned how to coach. Having Riley as a mentor probably helped.

Yeah I’ll third or fourth co-sign the heat being really fun even though their best guys top out at like borderline all stars in a weak conference. They have lots of dudes who just get after it. Spo has known how to coach for a long time (I give him lots of credit for steering the bron big 3 era so well when plenty of other coaches would have crashed that ship) but he’s done a masterful job turning not great rosters into tough ass teams a couple times in the last few years

ugh. i don't know how Pop has the Spurs where they are. I mean i *know* but it's still pretty impressive. Another winning season locked up. though the 50-win seasons streak is basically over, they'd have to win out to make it 19 in a row.

theyre in danger of missing out on the offs if LMA misses time. two games up on LAC but they play each other one more time and between now and that matchup they play OKC and Houston.

assuming they lose kawhi hard to imagine spurs being good again while pop is still coaching. he's 69 years old

starting to lose faith in the Bucks. they've had this "Own the Future" thing for four years now and it looks like yet another 8-seed/first round exit. I'm not sure they're going to get much better next season. I have no clue how a team this stacked with big wingspan guys can give up so many points a game.

im not sure what pairs well with Giannis since he's such a unicorn. maybe an elite off ball guard like klay or beal?

well hes got a poor mans version of those guys with middleton. he needs way more shooting around him for sure, tho. mirza woulda helped them this year, but had those blood clots. the brogdon injury shows how important he is imo. re-instating jabari this late was always gonna be tough. Jabari and Bledsoe just dont seem like good fits there.

bucks are so young ppl always get impatient with young teams, also giannis still has a ton of holes he needs to fill in his game (he is young)

yeah coach and shooting needs to be priority #1. Starting Jason Terry in 2018 means they are very desperate for spacing.

they're going to have a hard time changing the roster much but yeah they could get a huge boost from decent coaching.
