I'd seriously consider that deal if I'm the Hornets. this team is almost certainly fucked either way for the next 1-2 years minimum anyway. they're obviously not signing anybody good except Kemba, who'd then be on their books for five years. otoh I think if they actually made some good selections (big if) they could build around that Memphis pick plus their own picks over the next couple of years plus Bridges and Washington, both of whom I like.

anyone who thinks al horford is robbing them of scoring opportunities probably shouldn't be playing pro basketball

he doest take a ton of shots but he plays w the ball in his hands alot renders others spot up shooters and so forth, and theres some actual pro basketball knowledge for that ass

kemba has profited statistically by being the number one option on a mediocre team, but the flip side of that is that he always draws most of the defensive attention from the opposing team every single night.

Tatum and Brown are very young but they're playoff tested, ready to make a run right now. league is wide open next year, if Kawhi leaves and the Bucks miss out on re-signing some of their guys I think a Boston team with Kemba and an Adams type might actually be the favorite, as much as it pains me to say.

It was sort of a favor. He opted in because it looked like they were bringing back/improving the team to contend. When Ainge and co had to switch to retooling he asked for a trade. It sounds like he would have opted out if he knew about Kyrie and Al going elsewhere.

i agree with the underlying axiom of that which is that the celtics should not increase the number of ball dominant players they have. i'm down with taking kemba in if someone else is being sent out
