Both games today were incredible

frogbs, Sunday, 26 March 2023 23:19 (one year ago) link

Sheesh Texas really forgot how to pass in the final minutes

frogbs, Sunday, 26 March 2023 23:21 (one year ago) link

i figured with all the #1s gone texas finally had a shot at winning it all, i guess not lol

slai gorgeous-alexander (m bison), Sunday, 26 March 2023 23:22 (one year ago) link

miami’s victory proves it once and for all: if you want to win basketball games, you simply must ball incredibly hard

deadmauZedong (voodoo chili), Sunday, 26 March 2023 23:28 (one year ago) link

jordan miller: 27 pts, 7/7 from the field, 13/13 from the line

some clown on twitter was all like 'this makes a mockery of the regular season so maybe the higher seeds should start with a several-point lead'

lol thats an insanely dumb idea xp

lag∞n, Sunday, 26 March 2023 23:54 (one year ago) link

ncaa almost always gets the seeds wrong anyway

deadmauZedong (voodoo chili), Monday, 27 March 2023 00:20 (one year ago) link

not to honestly engage with this dude’s dumb point but, all these teams had excellent regular seasons. sdsu won the best mid-major conference, florida atlantic won more games than any other team, uconn is the number one team by advanced stats

are they getting ratio'd, v important question

slai gorgeous-alexander (m bison), Monday, 27 March 2023 00:30 (one year ago) link

yes

March Madness is incredible, but it renders the four months of regular season completely meaningless. Maybe the NCAA should let the higher seeds start each game with a lead, like the PGA Tour Championship

— Ben Volin (@BenVolin) March 25, 2023

mookieproof, Monday, 27 March 2023 00:50 (one year ago) link

yes why can't March Madness be more like that well-known prestigious and widely popular PGA Tour Championship

symsymsym, Monday, 27 March 2023 00:59 (one year ago) link

this mf out here trying to make "march rationality" happen, foh

slai gorgeous-alexander (m bison), Monday, 27 March 2023 02:10 (one year ago) link

I need the most madness you have

No, that's too much

frogbs, Monday, 27 March 2023 02:13 (one year ago) link

Caitlin Clark 30 point triple double - quad double if you count turnovers

sknybrg, Monday, 27 March 2023 03:31 (one year ago) link

the miami-uconn game should be pretty good. miami’s starting 5 has the best net rating of any 5 man line up in the tournament but uconn has been the best overall team. uconn has a number of potential first round picks and miami plays a very NBA style of ball. if miami wins i may pass out, i was a regular fixture at their games dating back to when they played in the miami arena (25% filled)

J0rdan S., Saturday, 1 April 2023 01:40 (one year ago) link

i went to a handful of utsa games this year, about half mens/half womens, and the mostly empty arena is actually part of the appeal. live sports without the triggers of social anxiety? sign me up.

caitlin clark is a killer

symsymsym, Saturday, 1 April 2023 03:21 (one year ago) link

been holding my breath the entire half. want to see boston get to work since she sat so much of the first half

sknybrg, Saturday, 1 April 2023 03:27 (one year ago) link

rip perfect season, despite south carolina having 1000 offensive rebounds

i only saw the last seven minutes, during which i’m pretty sure clark was the only iowa player to attempt a shot

mookieproof, Saturday, 1 April 2023 03:53 (one year ago) link

o-reb was 25-5 sc near the end of the game but clark scored just enough. nail biting close game. hope the final is equally close

sknybrg, Saturday, 1 April 2023 03:56 (one year ago) link

caitlyn clark is gonna shred through the w in a couple of years

slai gorgeous-alexander (m bison), Saturday, 1 April 2023 03:58 (one year ago) link

sknybrg, Saturday, 1 April 2023 04:11 (one year ago) link

frogbs, Sunday, 2 April 2023 01:45 (one year ago) link
