i was looking at the other ways they light it up (like 4th of july fireworks animations), it's crazy

one thing is clear, he's going to roll out of bed and get 3 blocks a game

yeah the defensive impact was unreal. he had 5 blocks and one that was called a foul that shouldn't have been. not just that, but his length creates so many problems on entry passes. it was the spurs biggest weakness last year and he'll keep games close even on nights like these where his shots arent connecting. sochan and vassell are both really excellent, versatile defenders who will complement the havoc he creates and capitalize on turnovers.

he just couldnt get into a shooting rhythm and seemed to be trying to score a lot on isos either as a perimeter shooter or in the low block trying to get to the rim on post-ups. his defenders were really physical with him and forced him into uncomfortable looks. they need to actually run plays with him rolling to the rim for easy alleyoops or popping out for open catch and shoot jumpers so that hes having to create space for himself (which he will be able to do later as his strength develops).

the passing was really impressive and might be the jokic-esque key that unlocks his full potential as a playmaker.

i wouldve liked to see him push it more in transition D. he seemed to defer to teammates to who were trying to chase down and get blocks.
