the amount of people coming for her over an absolutely correct statement and tripping over their dicks to say "WHAT ABOUT ISIAH THIOMAS HUH CHECKMATE" makes me want to restrict the first amendment for cishet men to only those who have received written testimonials from at least 3 non-related non cishet men that they are not in fact pieces of shit (otherwise str8 to jail)

shouldn’t be controversial that the knicks are prob as good now as they can ever be (more or less) with brunson as their best player. second round ceiling with maybe an ecf if things break their way.

shai’s full last name has to be murder for play by play guys trying to keep some rhythm to their calls

for sure but i feel like most announcers go out of their way to i.e. say giannis’ last name instead of calling him giannis, but that might be a respect thing for national or road team announcers. i think the bucks guy calls him giannis a lot. i think it’s the nickname aspect that is funny to me

i have noticed that w/giannis, i assumed there was some effort put in to combat any perception that people were avoiding learning how to pronounce african surname.
