Love that Kenny smith is getting torched on Twitter for how bad he was last night. I watched most of it cos my kids are into all the all star stuff now and he was consistently dropping horrible comments are just repeating lame sayings over and over. Ridiculously annoying and cringe inducing.

legler seems like a good dude, the kind of guy who should be a lot more visible if the NBA media landscape were (like the NFL’s) serious about people who actually like the game and have something to say… unfortunately as we know they’re in a pretty horrible place.

adam mares is my guy too for nuggets reasons obv, i think he’s great and I’m sure he’ll move on to some bigger national roles sometime in the next few years

yeah legler is should have a much higher profile hes serious about the game is up on the current basketball thought while having an old school player vibe, hes perfect really, but espn would rather have perk talking about how the celtics dont post up enough while they post up more than any team that doesnt have jokic

there is a bit in the most recent bill & rusillo pod from sunday where rusillo begins to make an analogy -- i forget the context now but it doesn't matter -- to when you go out for dinner with a friend after the friend has been golfing, and you can tell that the friend is hammered, because he was golfing, but the friend is saying at the dinner table that he isn't hammered. you could tell like 10 seconds into this that it dawned on him that nobody would have a flying fuck what he was talking about but he had to keep going... it was a nice window into his interior life

I really only know him from Ringer stuff but he isn't too bad. He at least tries to make arguments and analyze stuff.
