its coincided with him declaring repeatedly that his job is to get into the paint and put pressure on the defense, which is for sure a good idea, defenses can only pay him so much attention with all the other guys they have to worry about, and when they get in rotation thats when the perfect threes start appearing

and if they get the perfect looks they will win, thats why teams that rotate well your miamis and denvers of the league give them trouble, tho tbf rotating well is just good defense and good defense gives everyone trouble, but maybe it gives the celtics who rely on getting defenses into rotation a little more trouble

this year theyve had a better counter to teams rotating well which is to hunt the mismatches caused by rotations particularly finding zinger in the post but also theyve just mismatched hunted really well generally

celtics picked up a powerful center who can guard elite scorers on the perimeter and stay with them on drives for a couple second round picks (he is a free agent this summer)
