I was watching the women's game. I was really hopeful that we would at least be competitive--we were last year, but the Clark/Czinano combo and Formann's foul trouble killed us. This year, we weren't in it from pillar to post, on either end of the floor.

College basketball is funny like why did they never double Burns?

idk if that's a college basketball thing. for example, oakland basically double-teamed him at the touch (and marquette did at times, as well)

Idk an NBA coach would’ve adjusted I think with the way things were going. It wasn’t a bad strategy but you e gotta be able to switch things up

right, i’m saying other college coaches did adjust in that way, this was just a strategic error by scheyer

Caitlin Clark was unreal

I love watching Burns and the NC State run is absolutely amazing - they've won 9 "season's over if we lose" games in a row! - but I have to say, I would really like to see Edey vs. Clingan in the final.

dunno how much of this is Caitlin Clark but the womens ratings are really high this year, might actually be true that the reason people generally don't watch women's sports is because they're broadcast on ESPN 9 or whatever

Caitlin is clearly the biggest draw, but there is a plethora of talent in the women's game now.

One of the coolest sports moments I've had, well, ever, is watching Caitlin break the D1 scoring record with my 13 year old son. He can tell his grandkids about it someday.

yeah and you're actually watching the best young players in the world in women's college, while the best young men's players in the world play for the oklahoma city thunder

i’m hoping this ncaaw renaissance pushes more wnba expansion. as much as i love watching the aces beat the breaks off teams, there is just so much talent concentrated in a league of 12 teams.

i get it, the whole game was called poorly and they did not respond to the moment, but the that's not a foul people are wrong

yeah felt a lot like the Chiefs/Eagles Super Bowl, amazing game marred by a foul call at the end

it was the right call though...I guess....

The thing is, when you call timeout instead of playing in chaos to draw up an intricate play like that, you run the risk of not executing it perfectly and potentially setting a (barely) illegal screen.
