curious to see how KAT and mcdaniels handle aaron gordon, that’s a match up i like for denver. a big step up in physicality for those two guys compared to the phoenix series.

even tho everyone thought suns-wolves was a big mismatch in favor of phoenix, the wolves actually matched up incredibly well with a team that was completely reliant on on ball creation from wing players. mcdaniel and NAW looked incredible — denver’s offense is a lot different, gordon and MPJ require a different kind of attentiveness and i’m not sure minny’s guys have a physical advantage in the way they did in round 1. now they have a lot of length to throw at murray & im sure diff ideas of what to do w/ jokic but it’s gonna be a lot more on gobert and KAT this series than it is the wing defenders

i think the biggest matchup question is how denver guards ant they dont really have an obvious guy to match up with him and if he gets past the first level they dont have great rim protection, kcp is a lot smaller gordon could be the answer but then that kind of messes up their entire defensive rotation, best way might be kcp with a lot of help and see if minnys other guys can beat you

in general selling out to stop ant seems like a good way to guard minny, tho it didnt work when the suns did it ant made the good simple reads, but the suns are kind of bad
