total classic for TOMMY POINTS alone. are he and mike gorman the longest-running commentator team in basketball?

and regardless, certainly the most biased

GEE YOU THINK?

― David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 25 October 2005 17:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I forget if I actually saw this LIVE! or just on replay, but there was a "classic" Tommy Moment when he stuck it to a female ref he felt was screwing the Celts (because, duh, the Celtics don't ever foul or turn the ball over) and told her to go change her tampon or something equally "awesome."

Also C: his delusional perception of WALTAH!

― David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 25 October 2005 17:31 (twenty-one years ago)

haha utter classic

― metonymus prime (rgeary), Tuesday, 25 October 2005 17:36 (twenty-one years ago)

you'd think waltah had saved a drowning heinsohn kid or something

― metonymus prime (rgeary), Tuesday, 25 October 2005 17:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Aw fuck I lose TOMMY POINTS for spelling his name wrong.

― David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 25 October 2005 17:44 (twenty-one years ago)

I really wish, when WALTAH! didn't hit threes and play stellar defense, that Tommy would say, "I'm not feeling WALTAH! right now." But, nooooooooo: always w/ the "I! LOVE! WALTAH!" every time the guy played like he was back in Rupp Arena.

Total classic. I just rewatched the 86 playoff game against the Bulls where Jordan scored 63 points, and he tries TRIES so hard to hate on MJ, but can't. Such a great homer.
