welp, i guess the oden v durant debate is settled~~~

i wonder how portland fans feel, i know i would be excited about the future of my team if i suddenly had the 35 year old version of chris webber as my building block

We feel more or less suicidal.

With the Blazers I generally adopt a wait and see attitude. [folds hands on lap and commences to wait]

btw, Brandon Roy will still be fun to watch, as will Aldridge. That kid Travis Outlaw seems ready for a breakthrough, too. I'm looking for about 36 wins, even without Zachary Randolph as the team's anchor. (see what I did there?)

This season we need Przbylla to give us at least as much presence as Kevin Duckworth did, which ought to be possible, considering Duckworth.

On topic, I still expect Oden will be a fine player. If a teenager can't recover from microfracture surgery, given the assistance of a whole raft of expensive experts and a full year of the best therapy known, then it will be sad, very sad, but not the end of the world.

I feel pretty bad for Blazers fans, but it's hard to resist an easy joke.

polyphonic, Saturday, 15 September 2007 15:54 (eighteen years ago)

I'll remember that.

I will enjoy watching Durant this year. In future years, I will enjoy watching the firm of Oden, Roy, Aldridge and Associates surpass Seattle on a yearly basis. That's what it's about.
