Well also every single college dude and radio host in Oregon was screaming the same thing at the top of their lungs because they loved the INTENSITY and the MUSTACHE (HE'S BASICALLY LIKE US GUYS! LOL IRONY!) and it was like a sin to suggest maybe Morrison's game was tailor made for NCAA and wouldn't pan out at all against, you know, defense.

I think Morrison would have been best suited to a Kyle Korver-ish career, where he signs on with a team as a lower draft pick and earns his keep as a bench shooter, and maybe eventually develops into a rotation regular. Sticking him straight into the lineup was insane.

ive enjoyed the unsurprising flame out of a. morrison. although i dont see any reason why he cant become a decent shooter in the league. people expecting him to do things he couldnt even do in college wtf.

Maybe I was immune to Morrison!To!Blazers! because I was out of the area. Also because I don't listen to college douchebags or radio hosts...and because if Bill Simmons says something about the NBA he's pretty much automatically RONG.

went to the Magic Heat game tonight. not only have the Magic improved leaps and bounds, but the Heat are unraveling. even with Wade playing a fantastic game they got drubbed.

oh, and the typical Orlando Magic game attendee proves why Orlando doesn't deserve a professional sports franchise. Half of them can't even be arsed to sit in the right seats, or show up an hour late.

that said the heat lost to a team that really countered their oldness with quickness and kinda wore them out-- who's gonna do that to the spurs? the warriors? <3 them but idk if they could beat the spurs in the first round. i think hornets or jazz would be a good matchup for spurs haters, two teams that play a similar style but have enough younger, quicker guys that could eventually wear them out. i don't see the rockets or the mavs taking them out if they met up in the first round
