I totally missed Avery Bradley is on the team now

he might not make the final roster. everyone is hoping its gary payton II. bradley has looked bad in the minutes ive seen him and hasnt looked good in a few seasons really

My understanding is: Payton is signed for this season so they'd have to eat the money for this season if they waive him. Bradley is on an exhibit 10 which they could convert to a 2-way even if they keep Payton. If they cut Payton they'd have to have him pass through waivers to sign him to a two-way.

actually, bradley is ineligible for a two-way due to service time, so he would have to be a straight up g-leaguer

hmm. i think they should roll w GP2. Obv if AB was even like 80% of what he was he would be better but I like the idea of a real defensive ball hawk that's young and hungry to prove himself.

haha i think 6th man of the year would be ideal honestly, or most improved. he may get too many starts in klays absence to be eligible for 6moy. either way im probably more excited to see him play than anything outside of klays return.

the jimmy effect

steph been solid this year on defense, was really worried after last season when he was generally terrible. but he's been locked in on most nights.

Yeah Steph's defense is like LeBron's - only happens when they care and the games are important. Also Post can make a few 3s and can help space when Steph is off the court which helps tie that lineup together. It's been pretty amazing seeing runs transpire at the end of the 1st/beginning of the 2nd.

What's also standing out to me is how rock solid Podz and Moody are turning out, with Post not far behind them in impact.

I'm actually going to be quite curious and intrigued with salaries and moves this off season with the 2nd apron. Will the Hawks drop $30-40 million a year on JK? He's worth half that right now in this market it feels

hawks have no incentive to tank for the next 2 years, seems like they'll try to maximize what they can do in that window before inevitably blowing it up

Called it - felt there was no way we was missing >1 game after getting a clear MRI result. The fact that Steph solo won game 3 is telling me this series might very well be over soon. Tonight will be an interesting game - hopefully the dubs don't get overconfident and stay focused. Dray's press conference after game 3 tells me they will be.

not sure what the market for steven adams will be this summer but the warriors should be trying very hard to sign him. I'm sure the lakers will be trying as well.

My goodness that's certainly a way to frame it. Green is absolutely getting exposed. Telling when you're pulled from the lineup in the 2nd half of the 4th.

Moses Moody underwent successful surgery yesterday in Los Angeles to repair a torn Ulnar Collateral ligament (UCL) in his right thumb.

He is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of training camp.
