bad year for the ACC. not sure UNC has a single NBA player on their team. even duke feels like a top 5 team by default more than anything. banchero might be the only NBA player on their team.

UK fans have been pretty pouting on the team's start this year. They have not really yet started to go at coach Mark Pope, but their expectations are obviously higher than what the Desert says they are from my investigations.

I think getting the win over IU which was solid, as they punched them in the mouth with the defense in the second half and seemingly doing the same to St. Johns today might buy a bit of grace for a couple weeks.

A common insult I have heard on this years UK team is that they "PLAY LIKE A BIG 10 TEAM" which means kinda slow and fugly.
