TRUE OR FALSE: 2023 is the year the guard changed in the NBA

from 2011-2020, steph and/or bron were playing in the nba finals. 2021 could have been the year it was all over, but the 2022 warriors fought father time and won.

since then, the nuggets won their first ever title, and now the top of the west features minnesota, denver, dallas, okc, and sacramento. bron's lakers and kd's suns are in the botto half of the playoff bracket, warriors are in a play-in spot, and 2010s supergroup the los angeles clippers are sitting outside the postseason entirely right now.

in the east, long suffering infant squads like orlando (#2!) and indiana look to be playoff teams.

is the long 2010s over?

The turn away from the old guard teams of the 2010s has been decisive in the WC, rather so in the EC, but the EC struggled to assemble more than a small handful of dominant teams in the 2010s, so it is much less relevant to the question. However the recent rise of the Knicks is another data point that marks that shift.
