From wikipedia, so I'm not sure how old/accurate the listed stats are:

Luka Dončić, listed weight 230 lbs.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, listed weight 195 lbs.

Of the two, Luka obviously has a strong tendency toward weight gain and is likely to be higher than that much of the time. He's a big boy.

i was just noticing how in that video luka is clearly much more than one inch taller than shai, as to whether luka is big for a guard obvs yes but is he really a guard he doesnt guard guard guards and guards dont guard him, but on the other hand he does dribble a lot, more than anyone, i think its safe to say hes very big for guys who run the offense tho even that is somewhat an outdated concept except for few guys luka trae hali, then you have to ask is it an advantage for an offense runner to be big, being big is obvs an advantage in general in the nba but is it a particular advantage for a dribbling passing guy, maybe he can see the court better get passes off at good angles, id say its prob a small advantage from that pov, tho maybe a bigger advantage is getting elite ball handling playmaking from a forward because its rare at that position, then you can also have good playmaking from the backcourt and you have a playmaking advantage, except that the mavs dont really do that since luka has the ball all the time

tho i guess they do have kyrie, not really sure what their dynamic is feel like mostly one or more of them has been out when ive watched the mavs this year
