based on what he showed in college i can’t imagine him ever being good at rim finishing unless he completely alters how he plays down there. but he is shooting 37% from 3 on six attempts & is at 95% from the line so there are pathways for him to score

i haven’t seen much of them this year but figuring out ways to get him on smaller players to at least increase his FTA would be one step, imo. being a 6’ 8” offensive engine who only gets to the line 4 times per game doesn’t really work. looking back at guys like blake griffin & kevin love they were getting to the line 7 or 8 times per game. obv the issue with boozer is that big guys can guard him easily but it just feels like leaving a lot of points on the table to shoot that well from the line at that size but only be shooting one FT per quarter basically

it's stuff that's intrinsic to his game tho, i wouldn't say it's worth worrying about but i don't think the grizzlies are just like "well he's young it will all work out." in the sense that he will be some level of good player, sure, but there's some problematic aspects of his game that prob need to be figured out
