anyway i only dislike the nuggets because even with a.i./melo/j.r. they're really bland. tho i was thinking last night that i'm in a way glad the warriors arent' going to make it this year. if they would have lost 4-1 to the hornets it kind of would've ruined the mystique of last years thing i think.

Warriors eliminated by phx just now. Was really hoping to see them sneak in past Denver. ;_;

I understand the rationale of sitting Baron in the 3rd quarter, because he was being careless early on, but to ALSO sit him for the entire 4th quarter in a crucial game is just irresponsible. They had the lead and Nelly just let it slip away instead of letting Baron back onto the floor. An elimination game is really not the time to punish your franchise player for his shot selection.

kleiza is whiny and a ball hog, he doesn't play enough defense to be dirty...

melo is a pouty idiot...but both hands were on the ball and dwill just took a nasty fall...not a flagrant, didn't hit his head

nene is the only legit tough guy on the team and he's not playing this year...

also loving camby is a huge red flag that you don't know what you're talking about. he's mailed in this entire year and is possibly the most overrated guy in the league.

i will concede that the nuggets are very hateable, but calling them 'dirty' is the last thing i'd think of. most ppl say thuggets in relation to having tats and smoking weed and shit like melo's dui.

i've only seen denver play when they've played utah and every single game featured some sort of ridiculous dirty play from those dudes. there was plenty of hitting dudes in the lane! the takedowns were more from the bill laimbeer school than the jerry sloan one but i dunno, maybe those schools are closer than i think, LOL. the 3-4 times i've seen camby play this year he's looked pretty tough, but yeah i'm partially relying on how i know he's played in the past. trade you AK for camby? haha

i was hoping to find najera's WWF-style takedown of harpring (followed by hold on the ground) from one of the games in utah but there wasn't too many najera clips on the old youtube. carmelo's got wack game, but i was still bummed about the DUI thing

as a nugz fan, i would say that harpring is bruce bowen levels of dirty (ie. very effective and awful to play against), so i was stoked when najera pulled him down...harp is the master of instigating on the low, then getting the call on teh retaliation

when camby has plenty of rest and decides a game is important, he can still put up one of those 11/18/7/7 lines, but he's really been chilling this year. maybe saving for the playoffs??

carmelo, sadly, seems to have lost a step or something this year. it's all jumpers and catching lobs, he can't get by anyone. still shoots almost 50% tho. i tell myself it's cuz he plays so hard for his country every summer, but maybe it's just that he's a fatass.

haha, re: harpring - a jazz game isn't a jazz game unless bolerjack (announcer) mentions at least one time that 'harpring is a former football player' and 'loves to make contact'. dude is a bruiser, but i wish he had actual defensive skills like bowen! he makes up for it in hustle/frustrating opponents tho, definitely understand why he's hated on

i could see dallas beating just about anybody, they're scary like that. phoenix too. the west is crazy, i feel like just about anyone could take it (except for the nuggz, sorry hytop!)
