kinda boring, and horribly written but i don't see any glaring omissions. i think reggie should be higher.

I have a soft spot for 'Downtown' Freddie Brown. He was a kick in the head. He'd let fly from any damn place on the court and make them, too. No three-point goals in his day, either.

I couldn't care less about any damn espn poll, though.

you think reggie should be ranked over drexler and iverson? that's kinda crazy!

In pure shooting, Reggie Miller destroys both Drexler and Iverson.

Miller definitely doesn't have the above the rim game like Drexler or the driving to the hoop skills like Iverson, but I would bet Miller is about equal or superior to both as a defender. Reggie Miller has some crazy long arms which helped his defense.

One vote for Drazen Petrovich? wtf

The top four seem hard to fuck with; the last six seem like they could be a lot different. I'm never sure how exactly to rate Iverson, who has so much talent, but maybe talent that isn't perfectly suited to winning a lot of NBA games.

I wish I could actually watch a lot of these players, b/c I've really only seen much of Jordan, Miller, Bryant, and Iverson.

never saw Clyde, even on the rockets? he does deserve his spot.

tremendoid, Thursday, 13 March 2008 02:13 (seventeen years ago)

I grew up watching the dude (he was my favorite player! I had a replica jersey even! And wore number 22 on my middle school basketball teams!) so maybe I'm totally biased, but he was a 10 time all-star and second in MVP voting in 92. Also he was fucking amazing.

I'm sure I saw Clyde playing on that Rockets championship team and maybe other times as well, I just don't really have any lasting memories of it. I do remember reading about him in SI for kids.

Miller was a poor defender for his size actually. I still think he's better than iverson. his battles with jordan were sorta epic. the first year I started watching the regular season I saw this one game he talked so much shit he got jordan to take a swing at him, which, as a by-then former wrestling fan I took to instantly. Rodman was riveting in the same way.
