what is the best place wherein i can watch these playoffs games and cheer for the pistons without boston people getting all up in my grill?

i have been researching this but the only bars i've seen mentioned were irish and/or boston-y bars and normally this wouldn't be an issue bc the celtics were never playoffsy before but now i worry about where to go.

this is in new york, btw.

you have to stay home, watch the game on mute, and go for a walk during the kg interview at half time

i havent noticed any particular bostony activity during the games ive watched at bars - yr prob fine unless you go some place that has an established boston clientele like the rivera or wherever

secret is bostonians dont give a shit abt the c's - except me!

i care but then i'm not a bostonian. it was weird back in the 80s when they were winning championships they were only MAYBE as popular as the bruins who could never beat the habs.

the 7 day weekend i went on last week (despite only having three days off from work) will preclude me from watching the game tonight.

i read that ppl watch pistons games at places like professor thoms (which has been listed as a 'red sox bar' so i'm afraid) and one and one. i am also nervous about going someplace and ppl being all 'no we have to watch the crappy yankees play' even though this is obv. way more important.

unless the celtics win and then everyone will be all "CELTICS NATION WOOOO" and I'll kill myself.

mr. monster has been watching this year and it is good because I forgot basketball is about 4533489234349934003x more entertaining than baseball. my dad is a big c's fan, oddly enough.
