brilliant, brilliant idea. i can only imagine the time i'll spend digging through ancient games on this. forget assembling highlight reels- i imagine i'd have about as much interest in that as i would imixes on itunes, aka nearly none- i just want to dig up classic games and watch them without waiting for espn classic to get around to it.
of course, will they let you watch a complete game? i want to see wilt chamberlain's 100 point game. i want to see magic playing center as a rookie in the finals. i want to see havlicek steal the ball. but i want to see context, not just the minute-long clip.
pricing? i want this to be free, dammit! what would you pay? i might pay itunes-level prices for a good quality file i could keep and rewatch or burn to dvd; 99 cents sounds about perfect.
