the quintessential passing big man, the model for euro "finesse" centers everywhere, a hero to unshaven chainsmoking spectators? or the absolute master of the flop and the reason pipecleaner stiffs routinely get drafted in the lottery now?

i say indisputably classic. great passer and apparently the main force that held together the king's locker room, plus he runs a nice charity and i think owns or part-owns his old team kk partizan. even when i was rooting against his flopping, i still found it painfully hilarious. and every good center should rock a vlade beard now and then.

oh and i have a soft spot for anyone who played a long career *just* missing being on the right team at the right time- vlade seems second only to sir charles in that regard.

I say Vlade is classic just for being a good actor and not an annoying one (i.e. Karl Malone)
and as for Sabonis that man would still be busting fools heads if his knees didn't blow out from under him
