It's amazing how many of them are either completely inappropriate (Jazz, Lakers, etc.), or just random (Warriors, Raptors)...

Warriors is fine and doesn't seem any more random than USC Trojans or whatever. Jazz, Grizzlies, Clippers and Lakers are definitely the most randomly inappropriate, but I feel like they should get a pass because they originally made sense. Wizards is the stupidest, I think.

It has been too long since last season. In the meantime my fogbound brane forgotted the Bullets --> Wizards renaming farce. I am retro-embarrassed, especially because Wizards is among the silliest of all the silly names.
