I just deleted a long all-caps expletive-filled rant, but let me just say this: Put. The. Jail. Blazers. Thing. To. Rest. It's over. They've remade their team, and filled it full of choirboys; the only sketchy guys on the team are Randolph and Miles anymore, and if their old contracts weren't so stupid they would have moved them too. The Blazers are actually one of the LEAST thuggish teams in the league now -- hell, I would LOVE to see Darius getting t-ed up every once in a while so it'd look like he was in the game.

Also, I have sincerely tried to get technicals in as a positive stat, but Yahoo won't let me.

Last night I was convinced I had had one of the best drafts of my life, especially considering I had the #14 pick. But now, in the cold hard light of morning, I am kind of terrified about my lack of numbers in many major categories, and the fact that I am relying on three guys who missed most or all of last year due to injury.

But at least my team will be super-fun to follow, and at least I salted away dudes from my two favorite teams, and at least I took Chris Kaman before Rob Gizzle could take him. So I win!

I just offered you Diop for Darko. It may sound like an uneven offer, but Diop put up strong numbers after he started in place of Chicken Fries last year. It'll be interesting to see what he does with major minutes over a full season. Also, Darko is unproven. In addition, they both have names that are fun to say. Sounds pretty even to me.

sam old bean: first, look at where you're down: assists, steals, rebounds. second, get rid of crap players who aint' doing anything (uncle cliffy, etc) and get ones who have lots of assists, steals, and rebounds. you should be at least in the middle of the pack in no time.

Lost FIVE POINTS just this past week, and now I have three important contributors (Okur, Ilgauskas, JR Smith) injured or unavailable plus a fourth role player (Pavlovic) who's got the flu, my three of my studs (Deron Williams, Nash, Boozer) are coming off injuries, and last night I had six active players total 61 points. AND I'M STILL IN FIRST YOU SUCKERS.
