walton and steve jones were an amazing pair on nbc for a while. walton would say something dumb and ridiculous and jones would jokingly bat him down while thinly veiling his contempt for him.

some good recent van gundy bros moments: tonight's press conference where Stan asked journalists to write about the bs foul calls because they won't be fined 25,000 dollars.

Jeff saying (paraphrase) that he's sick of everyone always saying what a tough job reffing is and pointing out that defending Kobe for 45 minutes, or in fact every other job on the court, are probably harder than reffing. The only really easy job is sitting on your ass and commenting on games.
