There is definitely no one I would want to be coached by LESS than Bobby Knight. There are plenty of super evangelical athletes who strike me as more unpleasant to be around though. Jeff Suppan or Curt Schilling for example.

Alex halfway OTM (fuck the evangelicals). If I were a hyper-competitive athlete type, I'd probably enjoy working for Knight - for the public blow-ups, he does do some admirable things (forcing players to get their grades up, etc.).

I don't know, I think Knight would be an awesome coach for me. My jumpshot is not going to get better by having water breaks and yoga workouts and whatever new age crap most coaches teach. I need the discipline and the ass beating. If for nothing else, it's hilarious.

I would however love to play golf with him more than anything (as seen here: http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1686662).
