Like, is he a max-level player at this point? If so, he's a max player earning David Lee money for the next four years, which just makes him a totally ridiculous asset? I kind of agree with lolBerri when he says that if he shot 10 more low-percentage shots a game he'd be much more recognised ~ anyway WOULD U PRES THE BUTTON ON:
Rondo for T.Parker - easily RondoRondo for Amare - totally RondoRondo for J.Smith - RondoRondo for Rose - RondoRondo for B.Griffin - Rondo?Rondo for Bosh - still Rondo?Rondo for Wall/#1 pick - Wall, but I think I'm being irrational?Rondo for Roy - Roy.Rondo for Melo - definitely Melo still.
I might be crazily overrating him fwiw!

i don't know man, i just hope bulls improve enough and c's maintain enough to see rose & rondo go at one another in the playoffs for the next 3 yrs or so.

but no way would i take an unproven, 19yr old prospect over rondo

Of that list, I would only prefer Melo or maybe Roy.

I'd take Rondo over anyone on that list.

this is a weird question cuz if i could just pick a player to start a team i would pick rondo over roy, but obv the blazers would need a scorer to play off the ball of rondo & trading roy wouldn't make sense

i think on this list that melo & bosh are about even with rondo
― mr. milquetoast (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 23 May 2010 18:15 (fifteen years ago)
definitely a more interesting question is rondo vs derron vs cp3 -- you could make a case for every single one of those guys
― mr. milquetoast (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 23 May 2010 18:18 (fifteen years ago)
if you flip paul & rondo i'm not sure that either team is in a different place
― mr. milquetoast (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 23 May 2010 18:20 (fifteen years ago)
i'd take paul over rondo in a heartbeat

Yeah me too. Maybe Williams too cuz he's a better shooter.
― Fig On A Plate Cart (Alex in SF), Sunday, 23 May 2010 18:31 (fifteen years ago)
derron is a great player but i get the feeling that he's not as cold-blooded or as good of a leader as either rondo or paul.

yes. hard to compare the players, tho, given they do different things.
― Daniel, Esq., Sunday, 23 May 2010 19:04 (fifteen years ago)
melo for rondo would be disastrous but interesting
― hobbes, Sunday, 23 May 2010 19:56 (fifteen years ago)
well obv it makes no sense in the context of either team
― mr. milquetoast (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 23 May 2010 19:56 (fifteen years ago)
rondo & pierce for lawson & melo or something would be interesting tho
― mr. milquetoast (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 23 May 2010 19:57 (fifteen years ago)
as great as rondo is we still haven't seen him play on a team full of stinkers
