this i don't believe. i think o'neal is desperately concerned with going out on a super high note -- preferably by beating bryant in the finals. he could have signed for more money elsewhere. not that i think he's likely to put boston over-the-top at this stage of his career, but whatevs.

BOSTON — NBA analyst David Aldridge said Wednesday that with the addition of Shaquille O'Neal, the Celtics have vastly improved their chances of leading the league in three-second lane violations for the 2010–2011 season.
