just to add my two cents as to the a/t ratio stuff on the other thread, the standard way of doing things is count assists as one category, turnovers as another category. turnovers go against you. i am in favor of this model, tbh imo.

(Also would anyone be up for a NO DROPS league running in parallel? Obviously super low maintenance plus you have to make SWAG MOVES on draft day - if you take Derrick Favors or whoever and they bomb there's no getting rid...)

Is that draft time set in stone? I'd prefer it not be a month before the season starts? Something closer to mid-October would maybe make more sense?

Okay great re: draft date. I need to read 500 glowing training camp reviews of all the rookies so I completely overvalue them and waste rounds 5 through 8 picking rooks on spec.

u guys, wade and bron are gonna score 60 pts and 20 reb and 20 ast and never turn it over and practice 3 pts from half court while bosh wears shades and flexes midcourt, take this into consideration as u make ur draft choices

I'm not so sure. Felton, yes--DEN will be starting Lawson for a while, at least. But Gallo and Chandler are definitely somewhere in the mix, and they're going to push Harrington (my player--have to cut dude) down the bench for sure. I think Gallo starts, Chandler is 6th. Not sure about Mozgov. I'd hazard a guess and say that he'll at least get good minutes relieving Nene. On good days, he's better than Balkman (now gone, of course) and Ely combined.

i'm hoping felton goes somewhere else, tho there is no replacement for being the pg under mike d

Well, Big Country, Rondo's out for me tonight, so as good as that is for my team FT% (you just went ahead in that category, anyway), I'm falling behind in AST and STL, for sure. Really thought I could pull a 2007 GSW. I've been in Richmond the past few days, so I guess two upsets is already enough for one weekend.

Extra sucks because of how my team flamed out in my other league though. I was in fourth with two weeks left and then lost my last two games and missed the eight-team playoffs.

I was down 6-3 like all week, sorta gave up, then checked in yesterday and I'd won 5-4. Feel kinda bad considering how mediocre my team was all season. Like, I don't deserve to upset anyone this year, guys! It's cool!

thank you, thank you- great final round dayo. i think if monta ellis hadn't shut it down i probably would have lost- i'm sure he would have murdered the percentages and you had a huge lead on the main counting stats (pt/reb/ast/st) which was my main steez all year.

btw overall i love this league format: weekly head-to-head and one move per week are total keepers to me.
