as i noted in the other thread, during this vaunted streak that has restored prestige to the garden, the knicks have beat the following teams:

kings, warriors, clippers, bobcats twice, raptors twice, pistons, nets, t wolves & one good team (the hornets)

this team hasn't done anything except sign amare stoudemire

let's talk after this upcoming portion of their schedule:

vs den, vs bos, vs mia, @ clev, vs okc, vs chi, @ mia, @ orl, vs ind, vs sa, @ phx, @ lal, @ por, @ utah (those last four games will do wonders for the "best road record in the nba" i'm sure)

Was talking to a knick fan today and he was telling me how they are beating the teams they are supposed to beat. My response to that was, when the hell did the knicks stop being one of those teams?

knicks, 10-4 v the east, 5-5 v the west

just sayin, east coast is the least coast in bball, still

esp when the only east teams they've played are the wizards, bobcats and raptors

looks like carmelo is pretty interested... STAT + Melo = contention...

knicks have won like 13 of 14 - doesnt matter who youre playing that hard to do - and streaks like that tend to include mostly bad teams

obvs theyre playing over their heads, but playoffs sure

it hurts me that the knicks are the second most hated team in basketball

esp when they haven't even been contenders in 10 years

duh they're making the playoffs & they'll probably even make it out of the first round but that's gonna be their permanent ceiling -- amare is the new joe johnson, knicks are the new hawks
