I could use another shooting guard, but I like my team. Everyone's going to complain about the two-starting-centers thing from here to eternity, but I could have done worse than O'Neal-Curry-Krstic.

Either way, I've got a Knick to root for, I've got a requisite Syracuse alumnus, and I've got a big white stiff. What more can you ask for?

This year I decided to forgo reaching for centers in favor of picking the best player available and wow, the result of that brilliant move is that my starting centers are Dampier and Mihm. I'm hoping that Chris Bosh and Tyson Chandler qualify at C though... in which case LOOK OUT!

Yeah I like my team, not as much as last year's, but I feel good. I love having such a deep draft where I get to make such life or death decisions as, "Do I pick Michael Pietrus or Chris Andersen with my last pick?? WHAT DO I DO???"

I nabbed him, maybe too early, but I needed some forward help.

I don't even think it's the two centers thing that's a problem (lots of guys qualify as FC) so much as just filling those spots AND your forward roles. Maybe it's just my screw-up for picking too many guards, but if I slide Duncan and/or Big Ben over to C (I mean, I HOPE I don't have to start Jeff Foster consistently), I'm really thin at F.

On second thought, my team has a ton of third-rate tweeners, two rookies who won't contribute and not a strong big man to be found. Unless I find a couple of steals on the waiver wire, things aren't looking good.

I dunno - depending on how much PT Williams and Diogu get, your rebounding and shot-blocking could end up being okay. You've got a lot of backcourt depth - five shooting guards and all - which might compensate for the frontcourt.

Meanwhile, I managed to draft not only Shaq (46.1% FT last year) but Antoine Walker (53.9%). I've got a very bad feeling about this.

strickler, the draft was always set for 11 am pacific, sorry for not making that more clear. my bad...yahoo automatically set it for my time zone without telling me that when i was selecting the draft time. that said i think you got some decent picks, pierce is consistent, kirilenko will be a fantasy monster again, it should be sammy d's breakout year, richardson is solid and jim jackson should score a lot. plus you've got the first waiver wire grab!

Well the season's almost over and congrats to BigCountryReeves for the runaway success thanks to some nice drafting of Elton Brand, Shawn Marion, Rasheed Wallace, Chauncey Billups and Marcus Camby.

I'm hoping to hang on to the #2 spot with my cobbled together team. This was by far my best season where I drafted a player who was kicked out of the league for drug abuse (Chris Andersen).
