at what point is the best coach more valuable than a player?

let's say you took the best coach in the nba (pops? thibs? doc? vinny del negro?) and put him in a fantasy draft with every player in the nba. if you're a GM, at what point do you pick the coach? before the first player? after the first 10 players? first 20? etc

I pick Pops with my first pick, and then let pops pick all the players (kinda hard to pull off in a fantasy league, tho).

i feel like there is a higher portion of replacement level coaches than replacement level players. maybe you'd draft a really good coach in the third round after you've got your two best players or something like that. and probably 2/3 of the coaches should just not be drafted at all.

yeah agree with the last 2 posts - i'd pick pops or thibs after i had my 7-8 man rotation set, but no earlier. and if they're unavailable i'd say fuck it and take who they give me
